Recommendations are most useful when you treat them as an action list. Use them to decide what content to create, which sources to review, and where to focus your next visibility improvements.

Start with the most relevant recommendations

Not every recommendation will be equally important. Start with recommendations that connect to:
  • your main services
  • your main products
  • your target customers
  • your highest-value topics
  • prompts where competitors appear and your brand does not
  • sources that appear often across important prompts
This helps you focus on actions that can make the biggest difference.

Create content from a recommendation

When a content recommendation looks useful, you can turn it into an article or page. The flow is:
  1. Open the recommendation.
  2. Review the suggested topic.
  3. Choose to create content.
  4. Select the content type.
  5. Review the outline.
  6. Generate the article.
  7. Edit and optimize it.
  8. Publish, schedule, or export it.
Use this when the recommendation points to a content gap your website should cover.

Act on source recommendations

Source recommendations usually require action outside Serpy. For example, you may need to:
  • submit your business to a directory
  • claim or update a profile
  • request inclusion in a list
  • contact a publication
  • improve a partner listing
  • update how your brand is described
Use source recommendations when an important third-party website appears to influence AI answers.

Dismiss recommendations

You can dismiss recommendations that are not useful. Dismiss a recommendation if it:
  • does not match your business
  • targets the wrong audience
  • is not worth pursuing
  • overlaps with existing content
  • comes from a low-priority source
  • does not support your current strategy
Dismissing keeps your recommendations focused.

Review created recommendations

When you create content from a recommendation, that recommendation may no longer need action. Use this to keep your list clean and make sure the recommendations still represent open opportunities. A simple weekly workflow is:
  1. Review new recommendations.
  2. Pick one content recommendation.
  3. Pick one source recommendation.
  4. Take action on both.
  5. Dismiss anything irrelevant.
  6. Check back after prompt groups refresh.
This keeps visibility work manageable and consistent.

Tips

Do not try to complete every recommendation at once. Choose the recommendations most connected to revenue or visibility. Use content recommendations for website gaps. Use source recommendations for third-party presence. Keep the list clean by dismissing anything that is not useful.
