The Content Editor is where you edit, optimize, and prepare an article for publishing. Use it after an outline has been generated and the full article has been created.

What the Content Editor is for

The Content Editor helps you turn a generated draft into a finished piece of content. You can use it to:
  • edit the article
  • adjust headings and paragraphs
  • review the content score
  • update metadata
  • check keywords
  • review questions
  • add internal links
  • use Serpy Optimize
  • add or manage images
  • publish, schedule, export, or download the article

Main editing area

The main editing area is where the article content lives. You can click into the article and make changes directly. Use this area to edit:
  • title
  • headings
  • paragraphs
  • lists
  • links
  • images
Treat the generated article as a strong first draft. Review it before publishing.

Toolbar

The toolbar appears at the top of the editor. Use it to make formatting changes and access editing tools. Depending on the content and selection, you may see options for:
  • paragraph formatting
  • links
  • code view
  • undo and redo
  • article edits usage
  • text editing actions

Content Score panel

The Content Score panel helps you review how complete and optimized the article is. It can include:
  • content score
  • metadata
  • keywords
  • headings
  • questions
  • internal links
Use this panel as a guide while editing.

Article edits usage

Article edits usage shows how much of the article’s editing allowance has been used. This applies to certain editing and optimization actions inside the article. It is specific to the article you are working on. A simple editing workflow is:
  1. Read the article from top to bottom.
  2. Edit anything that feels inaccurate, unclear, or off-brand.
  3. Review the Content Score panel.
  4. Update title, meta description, and slug.
  5. Check keywords, headings, and questions.
  6. Add or review internal links.
  7. Use Serpy Optimize if needed.
  8. Review images.
  9. Publish, schedule, export, or download.

Tips

Always review the article before publishing. Use the content score as a guide, not the only goal. Check metadata before publishing. Make sure the article sounds like your brand. Review internal links if they are available on your plan.
