Deleting content removes an article or outline from Content Hub. Use this when you no longer need a piece of content in your workspace.

When to delete content

You may want to delete content if:
  • it was created by mistake
  • the topic is no longer relevant
  • the outline is not needed
  • the article was a test
  • you want to clean up your workspace

Before deleting

Before deleting content, make sure you no longer need it. Deleting content removes it from Content Hub. If the content has already been published to your CMS, deleting it in Serpy may not remove the live page from your website. Check your CMS if you need to remove or update published content.

How to delete content

  1. Open Content Hub.
  2. Find the content card.
  3. Open the content menu.
  4. Choose Delete.
  5. Confirm the action if prompted.

Tips

Do not delete content just because it needs edits. Use the Content Editor if the article can be improved. Check whether the content was already published. Keep your Content Hub clean by removing tests or unused drafts.
